Apple Store 5th Avenue Renovation Update: 15 Panes Instead of 90, May Be Completed in November
Citizens of New York as well as the Apple Fans around the world may have known about the latest news about the renovation of the iconic Apple Store in 5th Avenue, NY. The store is one of the most photographed landmarks in the city. The multi-dollar renovation began last summer and here’s the official plan for the renovation.
Apple will remove the glass and they will reinstall it again. This time, based from the sign they have posted on the plaza which surrounds the store, the store will be having a simplified look of the iconic location by means of using larger pieces of glass.
The informative sign outside the store stated that
“We’re simplifying the Fifth Avenue cube. By using larger, seamless pieces of glass, we’re using just 15 panes instead of 90”.
Let us now see the design of the Apple Store in 5th Avenue before they started the renovation (A.K.A the Apple Store with 90 Panes).
